Probably it never existed a 1081 official service manual from Commodore, it's look more like a NAPCEC service manual & diagrams compilation of the 1084 series and his variants, like the nap6523, 8cm505, 1084S, 1084P and obviously the 1081. It's more complete than other scans and the quality of the scans also are far superior. It has two circuit diagrams variants of the 1081, mono and stereo versions. It doesn't include a diagram for the Philips CM8500 or CM8501, they look like the 1081 but they are slightly different.

Oszilloskop an Messpunkt TP5 / TP4 (GND). Bandschalter: MW Drehkoanschlag: fo 292kHz Messsendersignal über Rahmenantenne in L505 (Ferritantenne) einkoppeln (fmod = 1kHz, m = 30%, Ua nur so gro�, dass das Signal gerade erkennbar ist). Oszilloskop an Messpunkt TP5 / TP4 (GND). Bandschalter: LW LW 153kHz, LW 261kHz Messsendersignal über Rahmenantenne in L505 (Ferritantenne) einkoppeln (fmod = 1kHz, m = 30%, Ua nur so gro�, dass das Signal gerade erkennbar ist). Oszilloskop an Messpunkt TP5 / TP4 (GND). Bandschalter: LW Drehkoanschlag: FM fu 87,35MHz, fo 108,25MHz Messsendersignal über 10nF an Messpunkt TP1 / TP2 (GND) einkoppeln (fmod = 1kHz, �f = 22,5kHz, Ua nur so gro�, dass das Signal gerade erkennbar ist). Oszilloskop an Messpunkt TP5 / TP4 (GND). Bandschalter: FM FM 88MHz, FM 106MHz Messsendersignal über 10nF an Messpunkt TP1 / TP2 (GND) einkoppeln (fmod = 1kHz, �f = 22,5kHz, Ua nur so gro�, dass das Signal gerade erkennbar ist). Oszilloskop an Messpunkt TP5 / TP4 (GND). Bandschalter: FM Abgleichvorgang Mit T501 auf Maximum einstellen.
2. MW Oszillator
fu (bei 515kHz) mit L504 auf Maximum einstellen. fo (bei 1635kHz) mit VCT501(D) auf Maximum einstellen. Abgleich wechselseitig wiederholen.
3. MW Vorkreis
Bei 600kHz mit L506 (MW-Antennenspule) auf Maximum einstellen (verschieben). Bei 1400kHz mit VCT501(C) auf Maximum einstellen. Abgleich wechselseitig wiederholen.
4. LW Oszillator
fo (bei 292kHz) mit TC501 auf Maximum einstellen.
5. LW Vorkreis
Bei 153kHz mit L505 (LW-Antennenspule) auf Maximum einstellen (verschieben). Bei 261kHz mit TC502 auf Maximum einstellen. Abgleich wechselseitig wiederholen.
6. FM Oszillator
fu (bei 87,35MHz) mit L503 auf Maximum einstellen. fo (bei 108,25MHz) mit VCT501(A) auf Maximum einstellen. Abgleich wechselseitig wiederholen.
7. FM Vorkreis
Bei 88MHz mit L502 auf Maximum einstellen (verbiegen). Bei 106MHz mit VCT501(B) auf Maximum einstellen. Abgleich wechselseitig wiederholen.
